The terms “course” and “program” are considered to be the same.  At the time of registration, a deposit equal to 10% of the total course fee is required.  Generally this deposit is non-refundable; however it may be applied to a future course within a one year period.  If you present us with a valid reason and cancel your course with more than two weeks notice, we may issue a partial or full refund.  This refund will be at the discretion of the school administration.  Payment in full is required prior to the start of your first class.  Once classes have started, no refunds will be issued.

Once your registration has been accepted and accommodations have been arranged, a 15% deposit is required.  Because your accommodation is with an outside source, i.e. hotel, apartment, host family; once an arrival date is set, there will be no refunds even if you are simply changing the arrival date.  Payment in full is required prior to your actually moving into the unit.

The School shall be responsible for your Chinese language program and will supply the necessary materials for you to get the most out of your learning experience.  With the exception of accommodation assistance as stated above and elsewhere in the Web site, you are responsible for all other requirements.  This specifically includes transportation to and from Qingdao, applying for and obtaining a valid visa for the period of study, bringing sufficient funds to cover your stay, and any other actions necessary.
